Guess of Honour was Tony Adams who once had a trial to go to Chelmsford (Joke!!! Kids ask your parents to explain it).
It may look like Tony Adams signing autographs but really he is writing a cheque to get PK off the stage.
The Football
U11’s
Within a whisper of the title
The girl’s were involved in some of the most exciting games of the weekend.
Against eventual winners Kiddlington they were 2-1 up with minutes to go and against runners up Biggleswade they were by far the better team but somehow managed to lose 1-0.
On top of that they scored some cracking goals won three matches and ended up the top scorers in the tournament.
The girl’s went really close and I’m sure next year they will go one better.
Despite them narrowly missing out they all came away smiling.
Well-done girl’s, great entertainment!
U12
Runners up spot!
After our first game we looked untouchable with the other u12 coaches marking us down as the eventual winners.
A mad 15 mins on Sunday morning cost us the title as Kiddlinton caught us cold.
After that shock it would have been easy to fall away but we were proud of the way the girl’s got back on track to pick up the runners up trophy.
U13
Fair Play Winners!
A great achievement from all our players and supporters. This was a lovely award to win and could see the girl’s spend a day at the David Beckham academy as part of their prize.
The girls were in a tough group as Eastbourne had a number of Brighton Academy players and Enfield were also a strong side.
To finish just behind these two was no mean feat.
I’m sure you would all like to join me when I say
Massive thanks to Rob for all his hard work which enabled us all to have such a fantastic time
